“The WWE has failed in India. They thought they would leave the Great Khali after using him. The Indian wrestler also believes that the future of wrestling in India is bright till the youth keeps themselves fit and says no drugs. Khali said,

“If wrestling in India is handled in a better way with proper coaching and facilities, it has a bright future. An Indian sportsman has a weak mentality. They feel that the consumption of drugs will help in enhancing their performance and will help them in clinching a medal. Even though they receive too much of love after winning medals, they lose concentration on sports.”

Khali also asked the young sportsmen to steer clear from doping and focus on their game. He said,

“Sportspersons compete to get a medal for once and do not think about long-term. By consuming a drug, a sportsperson can reach heights only for a limited time-period. I urge sportsperson to not engage in doping and concentrate on having a proper diet and getting proper coaching.”
