Aliens never visited Earth claims NASA moonwalker Alan Bean

UFO sightings across the globe are a myth. Aliens have never visited the Earth

UFOs and aliens have been a subject of fascination for long. Stories and tell tales about aliens have not only inspired books and movies around the world but also found a way into our cultures through the folklores that have been passed on via generations. Not only literature but reality too has been inspired by the aliens. While alien hunters have been looking the signs of the alien life in the space, people have continually reported UFO sightings around the globe.

After decades of debate on the existence of the alien lifeforms, NASA moonwalker has revealed that the extraterrestrial (ET) have never paid a visit to the Earth.

“I do not believe that anyone from outer space has ever visited the Earth,” former NASA astronaut Alan Bean told Australia’s news.com from his home in Texas, United States.

Bean believes that one of the reasons why the aliens have never paid a visit to the Earthlings is because the ‘civilisations that are more advanced are more altruistic and friendly’. Citing the example of the Earth as one of the advanced civilisations, Bean said that our civilisation has come far in terms of development and that it is better than what it used to be before.

The reason why he believes that we are not alone in the universe is because there are billions of stars with planets in the universe.

“There’s so many billions of stars and these stars have planets around them so there must be statistically many planets around many stars that have formed life,” he said adding that someday in future we would be able to travel to another star and teach the civilisation there how to cure cancer and birth defects.

Bean is one of the 12 people who has walked on the moon. He was onboard NASA’s Apollo 12 mission and has logged 1,671 hours and 45 minutes in space of which 10 hours and 26 minutes have been on the moon. After his tenure at NASA, Bean has been busy painting his lunar experience. He uses lunar tools, sprinkled with bits of Apollo spacecraft and a touch of moon dust to create his masterpieces.
