Lahore Qalandars' Sohail Khan Throws Ball At Teammate Yasir Shah In Anger, Here's What Happened Next

As the summer is setting in, so is the heat a few players in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018. For a moment, Lahore Qalandars bowler Sohail Khan could not control his emotions and vented out his anger at teammate Yasir Shah, throwing a ball at him. Khan did this to get the attention of Shah who was fielding in the deep mid-wicket region. This happened in the penultimate over of the match when Quetta Gladiators needed 30 runs to win from 9 balls.

Shah was obviously wasn’t happy with Sohail’s behaviour and lashed out at him. The ball could have hit his head as it missed by only a few inches. Before things could escalate, skipper Brendon McCullum intervened and tried to calm down the situation.

However, it all worked out in the favour of Lahore Qalandars as they won the match by 17 runs. Quetta Gladiators player Kevin Pietersen did not mince words while tweeting his reaction in which he also simultaneously took a dig at Sohail.

The commentator and former Australian cricket Michael Slater did not seem to be happy with Sohail’s actions as he termed the whole situation ridiculous.

Sohail bowled well in the death overs. He gave 30 runs from his quota of 4 overs. On the other hand, Shah’s spell was a little expensive as he leaked runs. But, most importantly he got the wickets of Rameez Raja and Anwar Ali early on in their innings.
