Sholay's Gabbar Singh is alive & he's roaming on Mysuru's streets brandishing his gun

Gabbar Singh is alive!

The 21st Century generation has grown up hearing all about Gabbar Singh, the iconic villain, of Ramesh Sippy’s 1975 blockbuster Sholay. Though it’s been ages since Amjad Khan immortalized this character on screen, recently we came across another Gabbar Singh, who roams around with his gun, in real life.

Photos of Ganesh Prasad, a resident of Ashokapuram in Mysuru, have gone viral after he tried to imitate the real-life dacoit of the same name from Uttar Pradesh in the 50s. Decked up in red kurta-pajama, he roams around with his licensed gun on a Bullet.

Well, this is not the first time that this self-styled Gabbar Singh has come to limelight. Reportedly, Prasad has been warned time and again for showing up with his gun at public places. Earlier in September this year, he even broke the law by opening fire in the air.

But, all the efforts to control his activities have gone in vain. So now, the residents of the Ashokapuram area are planning to take strict action against him by filing a police complaint against him. They also want that the license of his gun should be canceled.

It seems Ganesh Prasad has taken Gabbar Singh’s iconic dialogue “Jo Darr Gaya, Samjho Marr Gaya“, too seriously.
