Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 to have these two popular numbers from Salman Khan's Judwaa

Judwaa 2 will be directed by his father David Dhawan and it will be Varun's second film with daddy Dhawan after giving 2014 hit Main Tera Hero

Varun Dhawan, who will next be seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all geared up to step into Salman Khan’s shoes for his next film Judwaa 2, which is a sequel to Salman’s 1997 hit Judwaa.

Judwaa 2 will be directed by his father David Dhawan and it will be Varun’s second film with daddy Dhawan after giving 2014 hit Main Tera Hero. Varun is working really hard to get in the skin of his character and Salman Khan is also helping him a lot.

In fact, Salman also sent him a suitcase full of jeans which will help understand Raja’s character a lot more.

Since the film is a sequel, the makers are planning to retain two of the hit numbers Oonchi Hai Building and Tan Tana Tan from the original film, which will feature Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

Judwaa 2 is a story of two brothers, just like the original one and this time Taapsee will be seen in a college romance with Varun basically the character which was played by Rambha, while Jacqueline will play the role of a conventional Mumbai girl which was portrayed by Karisma Kapoor.

In fact, Varun in one of his interview with Filmfare said:

I don’t want to try and match the impact that Salman Bhai, Sajid sir and my dad created in the first one. I just want to give the audiences a new experience.

The film is slated to hit the theatres on September 29 this year and we are super excited to see how Varun will pull off Salman’s character from Judwaa.
