The first look of Varun Dhawan-starrer Judwaa 2 is out and has created a lot of buzz. The film will hit the theatres on 29 September

The much-awaited first look of Varun Dhawan-starrer Judwaa 2 is finally out. Social media is abuzz with the poster shared by the lead actor as well. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

The film directed by David Dhawan is a sequel to 1997 hit which had Salman Khan in the leading role. It will hit the theatres on 29 September this year.

The prequel also directed by David Dhawan had Karisma Kapoor, Rambha, Kader Khan and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Judwaa 2 happens to be Varun’s second release this year after Badrinath Ki Dulhania which will hit the theatres on 10 March. The film features him alongside Alia Bhatt in lead role.

As far as the film is concerned, Varun is equally excited about the role and said he would give his best shot. Recently, he recalled his childhood memories of watching Judwaa being filmed. Salman was standing in a pair of shorts and vest. Varun said he upset the superstar by addressing him as Salman uncle. The latter asked him to address him as bhai.

He recalled his younger days while accompanying his father to Mauritius where Judwaa was being filmed. “As I was young, I did not realise that everyone was working. Everyone was so relaxed on the set.”

Adding further, Varun told IANS that Salman sent him a carton of jeans for Raja’s character in the film. The film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
