Twitter users school Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma after he uses #MeToo to tell his ordeal with IndiGo

Vijay Shekhar Sharma used the #MeToo hashtag to share his ordeal with IndiGo staff members and Twitter users were quick to school him

Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma got on the wrong foot with social media users when he used the hashtag #MeToo to talk about his bitter experience with the crew of IndiGo airlines. While tweeting about his unpleasant experience with the IndiGo staff, Sharma accidentally used the hashtag meant for victims of sexual harassment. Shekhar is facing a lot of flak for using the wrong hashtag.

While everyone was fuming over the IndiGo incident, Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s tweet gave them another reason to be angry. Here is what the PayTm founder tweeted:
