Korean electronics giant Samsung launched its flagship device Galaxy Tab S3 at a special event in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The tablet is priced at Rs 47,990 and it will be available across all retail stores in India starting June 20, 2017. As a part of the launch offer, Samsung is offering a one-time screen replacement which is valid until July 31, 2017. Apart from this, Reliance Jio users will get 28GB + 28Gb data at Rs 309 until December 31, 2017.

To recall, Galaxy Tab S3 is a successor to Galaxy Tab S2, which was launched in India back in 2015. The Korean giant unveiled the tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC 2017) that was held in Barcelona in February this year.

Design

In terms of the design, Galaxy Tab S3 features with 9.7-inch QXA Super AMOLED HDR display with an elegant glass back. It comes with quad speakers and is available in two colour variants– Black and Silver.

Technical Specifications

In terms of the technical specifications, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and Vulkan API GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card. In terms of the camera, Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a 13 MP auto-focus rear camera with flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for candid shots. It is backed by a massive battery that can go up to 12 hours without charging.

It has Wi-Fi and LTE for connectivity and comes with the support for Pogo keyboard that requires no separate charging. Apart from this, the tablet comes with an advanced S Pen that doesn’t require any charging or pairing. The new S Pen comes with a 0.7mm tip that can recognise up to 4,096 levels of pressure.
