After launching its iconic Nokia 3310 in India back in back May 2017, HMD Global has finally launched its flagship smartphones Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 in India. While Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will be sold via offline channels, Nokia 6 will be sold exclusively via Amazon India. The phone is priced at Rs 14,999 and the registrations for the flash sale will begin on July 14, 2017, on the e-commerce website.
The e-retailer is offering several offers on the purchase of Nokia 6. For starters, Amazon Prime users will get Rs 1,000 cash back on using Amazon Pay Balance. Also, all Nokia 6 users who sign the Kindle app will get 80 percent off on Kindle e-Books. But that’s not it. While Vodafone is offering 10GB data for Rs 249 per month for a period of five months to Nokia 6 users, travel website Make My Trip is giving Rs 2,500 off on booking hotels and domestic flight via its platform.
In terms of design, Nokia 6 sports an aluminium body and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is available in three colours– Matte Black, Silver and Tempered Blue.
In terms of technical specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 system on chip (SoC) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the camera is concerned, the phone features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and dual tone flash, and an 8MP front camera with auto focus. The smartphone has LTE Cat. 4, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC for connectivity. Apart from this, the device also supports dual speakers for crystal clear sound.
