BSNL launches Chaukka-444 plan to counter Jio storm

BSNL has launched a new Chaukka-444 plan offering 4GB data per day for 90 days at Rs 444. The move comes in succession to its Rs 333 plan launched in April. Check out the details here

Jio storm has rattled all the major telecom operators in the country forcing telecom giants to form alliances and companies like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone to offer competitive prices in order to stop their customers from migrating to newbie Reliance Jio. It seems that the Jio’s aggressive strategy and ever increasing user base has now scared the state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as well.

BSNL has launched a new Chaukka-444 plan which offers its users unlimited data for 90 days. The new STV recharge offers 4GB data per day at a recharge of Rs 444. The offer comes in succession to the company’s earlier plan wherein it offered 3GB 3G data per day at Rs 333. However, there’s a catch. The new promotional offer is available only for the prepaid users (sorry folks!).

“We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segment of our mobile customers. We offer best prices to our customers considering the present trend of Indian telecom industry,” BSNL said in a press release.
