Milind Soman still possesses the ability to break a million hearts with just a photograph or two. Even at the age of 51, Soman has loyal admirers who follow the actor’s every move on social media. And, if they were to read between the crisscrossed white lines of his Instagram account, they would come to the conclusion that he Milind Soman might be dating someone. Now, there are two reasons why that’s not of anyone’s concern- one, we said ‘might’ and two, NOYB.
As per Soman’s latest Instagram posts, he is in “love” with a girl named Ankita Konwar and apparently, that’s news because… we don’t actually know why? With captions like “Love this person” and referring to her as “Smt”, Milind Soman’s recent posts have gotten people to start speculating if he’s dating or even married. It is actually not confirmed if they are indeed dating or not, but that would not make for cool headlines now would it?
Soman’s Instagram posts with Ankita are now paraded with mainly two types of comments- congratulatory and bitterly heartbroken. “Wtf.. it’s all temporary.. tomorrow u will say the same about someone else,” one Instagram user commented on his post only to move over to another picture to write, “Fuck it all.. feelings and bullshit… That girl has no feelings and I can vouch for that.”
If not hatred towards the girl, who will inevitably be stalked and hunted down eventually only to face the envious wrath of Soman’s admirers, some addressed the obvious age difference between Soman and her. “He’s old enough to be her father,” wrote another Instagrammer.
Okay, first things first: there may be a chronological age difference between the two (and again, they MAY or may not be dating) and if they are, in fact, dating, they are consenting adults who are exercising their free will. Who are you to judge anyway? Not a lot we’re asking for here. Just… tolerance.
