In the end, the kid got a meal of a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets and fries from McDonald's

What is the most that you can do for a craving? Can you match this eight-year-old American boy who drove his father’s van to a McDonald’s because he just had to have a cheeseburger! Not just him alone, The child even took his four-year-old sister in a shotgun to a McDonald’s outlet which was about a mile and a half away from their house.

He followed proper traffic signals, stopped at red lights and allowed traffic to pass before he executed a left turn into the McDonald’s in the town of East Palestine in eastern Ohio.

But how did he learn to drive? The Ohio boy said he watched to drive by watching videos on YouTube.

The parents were asleep at home when the child took his sister on his little adventure ride. The father went to bed and the mother fell asleep on the couch with the kids.

Police were alerted by people who saw the boy driving through the town.

Initially, when he pulled up to the drive-through window at the burger joint, the employees there thought it was all a joke. “The workers thought that the parents were in the back, but obviously they weren’t,” East Palestine patrolman Jacob Koehler told the newspaper.

Seeing the police officers at the spot, the boy started crying because he thought he had done something wrong.

The kids’ grandparents were called to take them to the police station. But in the meantime, they got a meal of a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets and fries.

The parents picked up their kids at the police station and no charges were filed, the paper said.
