IPL 2018: Ravindra Jadeja Reveals The Reason Why He Didn't Celebrate Virat Kohli's Wicket — Watch

IPL 2018, CSK vs RCB, Match 35: Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback with a bang getting the better of Royal Challengers batting lineup

Ravindra Jadeja silenced his critics with his stupendous performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) taking three wickets in his four-over spell. Jadeja turned the match on his head by getting the wickets of RCB skipper Virat Kohli, Mandeep Singh and half-centurion Parthiv Patel. He opened RCB’s batting lineup and helped in giving his team a modest target to chase. However, it was Jadeja’s ‘no celebration’ act that caught everyone’s eye.

Even if we leave out Kohli’s wicket, Jadeja did not even celebrate after dismissing Mandeep and Parthiv. After RCB’s innings, Jadeja revealed why he did not celebrate Kohli’s wicket in an interview with former Indian cricketer Rohan Gavaskar.

“Actually it was my first ball and was not ready for celebration, plus Virat’s wicket is always a big wicket. I was just thinking that I got a good wicket and now I have to carry on the momentum for my team.”
