IPL 2018: Ravindra Jadeja Couldn't Believe He Dismissed Virat Kohli, Chooses Not To Celebrate — Watch

IPL 2018, CSK vs RCB, Match 35: Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja did not celebrate after taking three wickets

Ravindra Jadeja has not been in the best of forms this season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. But in the clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) he stunned everyone including himself, the crowd and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli. Jadeja was introduced into the bowling attack after the completion of powerplay overs. RCB were off to a decent start. What happened next was shocking for everyone.

Jadeja came round the wicket to Kohli and bowled an arm ball. Kohli tried to play it square of the wicket but the ball did not have much spin on it. The ball hit the offstump as Kohli misjudged the trajectory of the ball completely.

Here’s the video of the wicket –

Normally you would expect Jadeja to shout, pump his fists in the air and giving high-fives to teammates in an animated manner. But nothing of that sort happened. He had his hands on the back of his head and just looked at Virat Kohli as if he was as surprised as him after taking the wicket.

Here’s how Twitterati reacted to Jadeja’s game-changing spell –

If you thought Jadeja did not celebrate because it was Indian skipper at the other end, then you are wrong. The Saurashtra all-rounder did not celebrate after taking the wickets of Mandeep Singh and half-centurion Parthiv Patel as well.

This has been the best performance by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder in this season. He ended up with stunning bowling figures of 3 wickets for 18 runs in his full quota of four overs. Before the clash against RCB, he had only taken 3 wickets from 9 games.

He has had a less than ordinary season with the bat too, scoring just 57 runs from 9 games. His position in the team was questioned by many. CSK coach Stephen Fleming too implied that Jadeja has to do better than a run-a-ball innings if he has to stay in the team.
