Mumbai Indians managed to put up a decent show, they posted 165 for Chennai Super Kings to chase. For Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest number of runs, he hit a quickfire 43 off 29 balls. But it was the Pandya brothers, who stitched a partnership of 52 runs to propel MI’s final score to respectability. Hardik Pandya remained not out on 22 off 20 balls.

But, there was a certain incident that took our notice. It was Hardik Pandya who hit Mark Wood for a boundary but off a unique shot. It was a short ball from Wood, which got Pandya cramped for room. Pandya had already made up his mind he was going to take on the short stuff. But because he was caught in an uncomfortable position — neither playing the pull nor ducking. Luckily, it got the top part of the bat and raced away to the fine-leg boundary. It was a boundary!

Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal are integral to the Mumbai Indians team and will play a big role throughout the season. Chennai Super Kings need 166 to win but are already in trouble as they have been reduced to 51 for 4 in 9 overs.
