Mumbai flags-off first air-conditioned local train service

If you’ve been sweating it out in the Mumbai local trains, and arriving at your offices all drenched, then it’s time you stopped. On December 25, Monday, Mumbai welcomed its first ever air-conditioned local train service. In its debut week, the train ran between Churchgate and Borivali stations. However, once fully-operational after January 1, it will ferry passengers between Churchgate and Virar.
