Indrani Mukherjea now wants to donate her property and organs

Indrani Mukherjee who earlier wished to write a book now has told the court that she wanted to donate her property and organs.

After expressing a desire to write a book, main accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukherjea now said that she wanted to donate her organs. Not only organs, Indrani also asserted that she wished to donate 75% of her property.

Indrani told the judge of Central Bureau of Investigation, HS Mahajan that she had two requests to make. Adding that she doesn’t know the outcome of the case, Indrani said that wished to donate all her organs. She further said that since she was living a really simple life in the prison and observing the kind of life the inmates are leading, she wanted to donate 75% of her property to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). While the remaining amount to another organisation taking care if women and children.

The court responded to her saying that she could do without the court’s permission and just asked her to put forth an application. However, the other accused and her husband Peter Mukherjea said that his organs were doing fine and he did not intend to donate them.

Earlier, she told the court that she wanted to publish a book and that she wished to donate 50 percent of the money that she is able to generate from the sales to the women abandoned in the Byculla prison while the rest will go (ISKCON).

Indrani Mukherjea is reportedly passing her time in prison by translating Sanskrit shlokas from Gita to English. She has apparently translated 700 Sanskrit shlokas from Gita as of now.

Sheena was allegedly murdered by Indrani, along with her accomplices Shyamwar Rai and Sanjeev Khanna. The trio was nabbed last year when Rai while appearing in an illegal arms case, revealed about the alleged murder.
