After Rabri Devi, now Lalu Prasad Yadav comes up with 'guidelines' for his bahu

Rabri Devi's statement had raised a few eyebrows when she said that she doesn’t want ‘mall-going’ and ‘cinema hall going’ girls for her boys

After wife Rabri Devi asserted that she wants a cultured wife and not a mall going wife for her sons, former Bihar chief minister has clarified what his wife meant. So what sort of a daughter in law does Lalu Yadav want for his sons? Here is what Lalu has to say.

“Sanskari bahu doesn’t mean veiled, home bound, dependent lady. It means strong willed, loving, caring lady, whthr working women or housewife,” Lalu tweeted on Monday.

Rabri’s statement had raised a few eyebrows when she said that she doesn’t want ‘mall-going’ and ‘cinema hall going’ girls for her boys. She had said that she would prefer a ‘ desi girl’ for his sons as her daughters-in-law, especially for Tej Pratap who according to her is very religious.

“Cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, jaise ki hum hain, waisi ladki chahiye. (I don’t want cinema hall and mall-going girls. She should be one who can look after the house, respect elders, and manage outside work, just like me).”
