Aditya Narayan apologises on the set of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for his misbehaviour with airline staff member

Aditya Narayan, who received some heavy backlash for his verbal altercation with an airline staff member at Raipur airport, has issued an apology in public for his misbehaviour. While shooting for children’s singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, he apologised.

According to the reports published by a leading daily, a source told, “Neha Kakkar, one of the judges, wasn’t on the sets when the team started shooting the episode. When Aditya called her up, the singer admitted that she is upset with him for what he had done. Aditya instantly went on stage and asked for her forgiveness. He also appealed to the audience, who would watch the episode from their homes, to forgive him. “I am very, very sorry. I am extremely sorry. Aap shayad jaante hain ki main aisa nahi hoon. And India, thank you so much for the support over the years,”

Just for the uninitiated, an argument triggered after Narayan was asked to pay for carrying excess baggage on-board by an airline. He was travelling with a group and was allegedly carrying excess baggage of 40 kg — well above the free prescribed limit of 15 kg.

According to the airline, he was asked to pay Rs 13,000 for the excess baggage, which he refused and said that he will not pay more than Rs 10,000. The airlines told a leading newsagency that “Narayan was informed that if he continues to misbehave then he will not be allowed to travel. Later, Narayan apologised to the ground staff and thereafter was given his boarding card.”
