Kaala Karikalan: Rajinikanth to speak Hindi after 17 years

In Kala Karikalan Rajinikanth will be mouthing many dialogues in Marathi as well as in Hindi and Tamil languages

Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his next release Kaala Karikalan‘s and the second schedule of the film has resumed in Mumbai.The fil is touted to be the 164th film of Rajinikanth. Well, this is not the only interesting fact related to the film. With Kaala Karikalan, Rajinikanth will seen delivering dialogues in Hindi after 17-years on silver screen.

Kaala Karikalan is said to be a gangster-drama. In the film Rajinikanth will be seen playing a man from Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli who runs to Mumbai in his childhood and goes on to become a powerful don of Dharavi slums.

It is also being reported that Rajinikanth will be mouthing many dialogues in Marathi as well along with Hindi and Tamil languages. The actor was last seen speaking Hindi in the 2000 Bollywood film Bulandi, a remake of his own Tamil blockbuster Pedarayudu released in 1995.

The film is helmed by PA Ranjith, who has also given the blockbuster hit at Box Office Kabali. While it is produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush. The film also stars Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, Pankaj Tripathi and Anjali Patil in pivotal roles.

Kaala Karikalan also marks the Tamil comeback of veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar after nine years his debut Tamil film Bommalattam was released in 2008.

Meanwhile, Kaala Karikalan marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Dhanush. The Kolaveri Di star has earlier bankrolled films like Kaaka Muttai, Visaaranai and Power Paandi.
