Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 refuses to slow down at the box office, crosses Rs 1200 crore worldwide

Starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia among others, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is in no mood to slow down. After taking the Box Office by storm with a collection of Rs 1,000 crore, this magnum opus has now become the first Indian film to gross over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Released on April 28, Baahubali 2 has garnered a tremendous response. The film is a sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning and is not only doing great in terms of its collection but is also receiving an amazing response for its grand set and visual effects.

Confirming the same, trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to social media platform and wrote: “As of yesterday, #Baahubali2TheConclusion has crossed ₹ 1,200 Crore at the WW Box Office. No signs of slowing down. Will cross US$200 M WW today!”

The film has upped the bar at the Box Office with a collection of Rs 41 crore on Friday, April 28 followed by Rs 40.50 crore Saturday, Sun 46.50 crore, Mon 40.25 crore, Tue 30 crore, Wed 26 crore, Thu 22.75 crore, Fri 19.75 crore, Sat 26.50 crore, Sun 34.50 crore.

Taran Adarsh also revealed that the Hindi version Baahubali 2 is all set to surpass the lifetime biz of Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal (Rs 387.38 cr) to emerge as the highest grosser. With this achievement, it will become the first ever movie to touch Rs 400 crore. Check out his tweet here:

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is also performing well at the International Box Office.

The film is about two warring cousins and their battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom. It also stars Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
