Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has already taken the Box Office by storm as the film has garnered Rs 1000 crore worldwide. The film, featuring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah in the lead, released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam in over 6500 screens across India, and in 9000 plus screens worldwide.
Released on April 28, the dubbed Hindi version of the film is now all set to enter Rs 400 Crore club and minted Rs 80 crore in the second weekend. Sharing the exact figures of the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter and wrote: The #Baahubali2 wave remains SUPER-STRONG… Collects a MASSIVE ₹ 80.75 crore in Weekend 2, taking its 10-day total to ₹ 327.75 crore. HINDI.
The film has earned Rs 34.50 crore on Sunday. Going by the figures posted by him, the film shows a mere 36.91% decline in its second Weekend. While the film collected Rs 128 crore in its first Weekend, it witnessed a slight decrease in numbers with the collection of Rs 80 crore in the second Weekend.
The film has upped the bar at the Box Office with a collection of Rs 41 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 40.50 crore Sat, Sun 46.50 crore, Mon 40.25 crore, Tue 30crore, Wed 26 crore, Thu 22.75 crore, Fri 19.75 crore, Sat 26.50 crore, Sun 34.50 crore.
Directed by S.S Rajamouli, the film is about two warring cousins and their battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom. The film is the second installment of 2015 released Baahubali: The Beginning.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Karan Johar, the distributor of Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in Hindi, tweeted on Sunday: “The biggest milestone has been reached by the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema! Rs 1,000 crore ‘Baahubali’.”
