Fantastic Beasts 2 Trailer Just Teased A Character We're All Too Familiar With

One of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes made a short appearance in the final trailer of the Fantastic Beasts sequel, which is slated for a release on November 16

Potterheads, assemble. The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. The final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald just dropped and it seems the franchise, which is a prelude to the Harry Potter series, is all ready to establish its Voldemort connection. (Although, “the moment” would be the actual release of the sequel, but whatever. This is all we’ve gotta make-do with for now.)

One of Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes made a short appearance in the final trailer of the Fantastic Beasts sequel, which is slated for a release on November 16. Nagini, aka the bitch-ass snake that attacked Mr Weasley at the Ministry of Magic, can be spotted briefly in what seems like a scene from a circus.

Nagini as seen in the final trailer of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

For those of you who do not know, Nagini was actually a Human Maledictus and used to be a circus performer before Voldemort used her master’s death to turn her into a Horcrux-cum-trusty killer reptile back (or later, in the context of this franchise) in the ’90s.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Kim says that Nagini in Fantastic Beasts will be “far from the villain one might expect”. She says, “You’ve only seen her as a Horcrux. In this, she’s a wonderful and vulnerable woman who wants to live. She wants to stay a human being and I think that’s a wonderful contrast to the character.”

Reportedly, Nagini will also share a close friendship with Credence Barebone, played by Ezra Miller, since both of them can bond over being outcasts with transformation issues.
