The movie is expected to enter the Rs 100 crore club on Monday, October 23, thereby being one of the few movies to breach past the threshold in four days. The movie is looking to emerge the biggest hit of the year and given the collections so far, the film is expected to easily breeze past the Rs 150 crore mark at the Box Office.

Golmaal Again has been made on a budget of Rs 90 crore (including print and publicity) and the producers are already in profits owing to the theatrical business as well as the revenue from ancillary sources which includes digital and music rights. The movie will be the 7th consecutive Rs 100 crore grosser for Rohit Shetty after Golmaal 3, Bol Bachchan, Singham, Chennai Express, Singham Returns and Dilwale.

Ajay Devgn too already has five films in the Rs 100 crore club and Golmaal Again would be the sixth one to attain this feat. In the long run, the film is poised to emerge as the biggest hit of Ajay Devgn’s career and will most likely surpass Singham Returns which had accumulated Rs 141 crore. Golmaal Again opened to generally negative reviews, however, the audience word of mouth seems to be on the positive side for the comedy caper which has resulted in massive Box Office collections.

The film has fared well in the overseas market too as it raked in 3.5 million dollars (Rs 22.78 crore) in its opening weekend. The success of Judwaa 2 and Golmaal Again have put a stamp on the fact that comic entertainers, if presented well, can do wonders at the Box Office.
