With Bollywood celebs praising Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi, the critics also have some really nice things to say about the movie. With a fresh concept and a simple story, the movie teaches you a lot about human relations and that we should cherish every single moment of our life. And unlike most of the Bollywood films, this movie does not have a romantic connection between the lead pair and there are also no unnecessary song sequences.
Dear Zindagi is a slice-of-life film with Alia playing the role of Kiara, the protagonist and an aspiring filmmaker, who is on the lookout for a lot of unanswered questions, while SRK is playing the role of Jehangir, a therapist, who gives her some life lessons. The film also features Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has taken a backseat and SRK the actor is what you will get to see in the movie. Dear Zindagi is full of great performances, superb writing, and amazing cinematography.

On one hand, film critic Raja Sen said that the movie is beautifully made and goes a long way in making a viewer think of the people who matter most. While on the other, film critic and columnist Bhawana Somaaya thinks that the beginning is a bit slow and stretchy. The only best part is that it is not a film about any specific relationship, it’s about life, its various colors and moods.
