Tributes poured in from the world over to honour the victims of attacks in Sri Lanka.

At the stroke of midnight in Paris, the Eiffel Tower turned off its lights to honour those who died. Indian sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik dedicated a sand sculpture at Puri Beach in Odisha. A group of Russian citizens in Moscow gathered in front of the Sri Lankan Embassy to show their support. In Spain, the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium held a minute’s silence before the match between Real Madrid & Athletic Bilbao. In Bodh Gaya, Bihar, Buddhist monks conducted a prayer meeting at Mahabodhi Temple while in Karachi, Pakistani Christians held a candlelight vigil in the memory of the victims.

Serials blasts rocked Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday targeting churches and luxury hotels killing at least 290 people.
