It seems US president-elect Donald Trump has got in love with rallies. On Thursday, he kicked off his “Thank You Tour” in Ohio. But while he took to the stage and addressed the people, the one thing that stood out was that the Trump during the campaign trail is same as president-elect Trump. The impulsiveness, the bluster remain the same.
He started by speech saying “I love you, Ohio!”. He did not miss even a single chance to brag about his electoral success even bringing his opponent Hillary Clinton in the picture,yet again.
“We did have a lot of fun fighting Hillary, didn’t we?” he said. He also did not miss a chance to take potshots at media calling them “very dishonest people”.
Familiar slogans by supporters were also heard. “Lock her up” for Hillary Clinton; “Build the wall” for illegal immigration.

Talking about the reactions of anchors in television studious, he mocked the surprise that they had on their faces while announcing Trump’s victory. “We shattered that sucker,” he said. “That poor wall is busted up,” he said while talking about the Democratic states.
Still in his election mood, he even falsely claimed of securing a landslide victory. He also did not miss a chance to criticise Ohio’s leaders for not backing him strongly.
Talking about the tour he said, “I love this stuff…Should I go on with this a little bit longer?”
The tour is being done to thank the people who trusted him their votes. Previous president elects also have done such tours but with less fanfare. Trump is also being questioned for holding such a tour with analysts calling it a waste of time.
Having spent days behind the doors in the Trump Tower interviewing job applicants and making appointments for his administration, it seems that he is reliving those moments which got him the presidency.
