The US Embassy has also assured a probe in this case and asserted that the US is a nation which welcomes people from other countries.

Expressing concern over the killing of an Indian citizen by an American on Wednesday night in Kansas, the United States (US) Embassy in New Delhi has strongly condemned the act.
