Manish Sisodia acknowledged the efforts of workers for constructing a foot-overbridge and got their names inscribed on the plaque installed there.

A picture of a plaque of a foot-overbridge in east Delhi’s Patparganj area is going viral. The foot-overbridge was, reportedly, inaugurated by one of the workers and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Labours Day in 2015. He acknowledged the efforts of workers for constructing a foot-overbridge and got their names inscribed on the plaque installed there. The workers who built the bridge are 1) Sanjay 2) Sultan 3) Arun Tiwari 4) Salman 5) Pankaj.

The picture was posted by a Facebook user Banojyotsna Lahiri and has been shared by hundreds. She even posted it on Twitter with a caption, “I have many differences with AAP…but that notwithstanding I must admit I’ve never ever seen anything like this, under any other government. Acknowledging the workers who built the footbridge, bu name, is ensuring the dignity of labour. well done @msisodia sir.” Not only Banojyotsna, but other users are also praising the AAP’s effort of acknowledging the workers.

But it seems not everybody is happy.
