What happens when you freeze Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and Apple iPhone 7 Plus in Coca Cola -- Watch Video

Have you ever wondered if your Samsung Galaxy S8 or iPhone 7 Plus accidentally fell in a tub full of Coca-Coal? Find out which one survives the Coca-Cola test and beats the cold in the deep freeze test

When it comes to the world of smartphones, there are only two camps– Apple and Samsung. Granted there is Google with its Pixel series, but let’s be honest when it comes to smartphones, Google Pixel is like the NAM of yesteryears. And, when it comes to the competition between the top models of the two brands, things can get pretty messy. So how do you decide which one is better– Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus or Apple iPhone 7 Plus? You subject them to the Coca-Cola test. Sounds weird? But it isn’t!

A Facebook user who goes by the name @AppleInc.HD and is known for performing crazy experiments on smartphones has come up with a new video that subjects Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 Plus to conditions that you would have never heard before. Motive? The crazy techie wants to test the resilience of the two smartphones to find out which one is better.

As expected, both the phones are perfectly fine (thanks to the IP67 and IP68 dust and water resistant technologies in iPhone 7 Plus and Galaxy S8 Plus respectively).

Next, he put the two tubs, each with Galaxy S8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus (and Coca-Cola of course), into a deep freezer where the temperature dips to -32 to -34 degree Celcius). He finally takes the two phones out of deep freeze after a period of 12-14 hours. What happens next is unbelievable!

Any guesses folks?

Both the phones work perfectly fine.

While Samsung smartphone slows down a bit and the iPhone has a frosty screen (cold seems to have that effect on the LCD screens), other than that Coca-Cola seems to have no significant impact on Galaxy S8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus.

Verdict

If you are planning to buy a high-end smartphone both Samsung and Apple are trustworthy and worth the splurge.
