Reliance Jio has stormed the Indian telecom sector with its lucrative offers. Right from the beginning, when it launched its ambitious plans of integrating the nation with its affordable 4G services, Jio rattled the Indian telecom giants including Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea, who were forced to offer cheaper data services to prevent the customers from migrating to Jio.
After offering 30GB free data to its postpaid users last month, Airtel has launched new data plans for its postpaid and prepaid users across the nation.
The telecom giant is offering up to 30GB free data for next three months to all its postpaid users who log into the My Airtel app by April 30, 2017. Additionally, the company is also offering special benefits to postpaid users who are travelling abroad and have not activated their international roaming plans. “Say, you are travelling to Singapore and haven’t activated any pack. For this destination, our daily pack costs Rs 499 and includes unlimited incoming calls, free data, SMS and calls to India. If your daily usage exceeds Rs 499, we’ll automatically activate the Rs 499 pack at no added cost,” Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal wrote in an email to the customers.

As a part of its Rs 29 plan, the company is offering 200MB 3G/4G data for 30 days. On the other hand, a recharge of Rs 244 gives the customers unlimited local and STD Airtel calls along with 1GB data 4G per day for 70 days.
While the company is offering unlimited calls and data (2GB a day) for 28 days on a recharge of Rs 345, users who opt for a Rs 399 plan will get unlimited local and STD calls with 1GB 4G data for 70 days.
