Earlier in June, the Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus launched its flagship device OnePlus 5 in India. And now the company is launching a limited edition soft gold variant of the device in the country. The soft gold variant of OnePlus 5 is priced at Rs 32,999 and it will be available for purchase via Amazon India on August 9, 2017. The device will also go on sale on the OnePlus store at 12 AM on August 9. Interestingly, the company has introduced the soft gold of OnePlus 5 with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage only.
With this, the 6 GB + 64 GB memory variant of the OnePlus 5 will now be available in two colour variants– Slate Gray and Soft Gold. Also, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of the device, which was previously available only in the midnight black colour variant, will now be available in slate grey colour variant as well. The new slate grey variant will be available for purchase on Amazon India, OnePlus online store and in OnePlus store in Bengaluru and in Delhi. The 8 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 37,999.

In terms of the specifications, OnePlus 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system on chip (SoC) and it runs on Oxygen OS which is based on Android Nougat. It sports a 16MP + 20MP rear camera with electronic image stabilisation (EIS) technology and a 16MP front camera. The device also features a 3,300 mAh battery with dash charge technology and it has GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G for connectivity.
