Nintendo reveals Super Mario Odyssey, new Pokemon and 7 other games for Switch [Watch trailers]

Nintendo announced a number of new games for Nintendo Switch at E3 2017. Apart from a new Pokemon game, Switch is also getting a new Metroid game. Check out all the games that are coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is having a gala time. After the phenomenal success of Pokemon GO, Super Mario Run and its brand new gaming console Nintendo Switch, the gaming company just showed how it plans to maintain its winning streak. The company made some major announcements at E3 2017 and what excites us the most is the list of games that will make it to Nintendo Switch this year.

From Super Mario Odyssey and a new Pokemon game to Metroid Prime 4, here what Nintendo has in store for you:

Super Mario Odyssey

Good news folks! Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey is coming to Switch on October 27, 2017. One of the major difference in the game is that this time Mario will be able to throw his hat ‘Cappy’ on to his enemies to control them for a short period of time.

New Pokemon Game

Nintendo is well aware of the ‘Pokemon’ fever that gripped the world last year. And now the company is bringing this mania to Switch. Though the company has started working on a ‘Nintendo Switch’ version of a new Pokemon game, little is known about the release date of the game. For all we know, we may not get a glimpse of the game until next year.

Metroid Prime 4

Metroid is back and it is coming to Switch! The company is releasing the fourth edition of its science fiction game– Metroid for Switch nearly a decade after Metroid Prime 3 (2007) was released. So far we know nothing about the game or about the launch date but we sure are riding high on excitement.

New Kirby Game

Nintendo is developing a new Kirby game for its gaming Switch and it will be released next year. The new game will support upto four players for a team-up action. Additionally, players will be able to turn their enemies into friends by recruiting them as helpers.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo is bringing two new expansion passes to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While the Master of Trials will be released on June 30, 2017, The Champions’ Ballad will be unveilled sometime in the holiday season.

Rocket League

Rocket League is on way to Nintendo Switch and the game will be released sometime in the holiday season this year. The game will feature multiple game types and casual and competitive online matches. Apart from this, the game will also feature special ‘Mutators’ that let the player change the rules.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in the holiday season this year. The first edition of the game Xenoblade Chronicles was released in 2017 for Wii. The new game will revolve around Rex, his new friend Pyra and Blade.

Fire Emblem Warriors

Nintendo has released a new trailer of Fire Emblem Warriors and the game is coming to Switch this fall. In the game, the player will have to save his kingdom from an evil dragon. Additionally, the players will also be fighting with monsters like Marth, Xander and Corrin.

New Yoshi Game

Nintendo also announced a New Yoshi Game for Switch that will be released in 2018. Expect more interesting stages and partnerships in the world full of mini dioramas.
