Remember the oh-so-reliable Nokia 3310? Yes, the iconic Nokia handset has made a comeback in a completely new avatar. Nokia on February 26 launched its iconic 3310 model which was part of every household in the early 2000s. The phone was launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

The start of the 21st century saw people increasingly ditching their landlines to talk to their family and friends using mobile phones. One name that in many ways pioneered this trend was Nokia. The company with its robust range of smartphones gained immense popularity and quickly became a household name across the globe.

The phone is priced at Rs 3454.91 and is likely to launch in India in the month of May.

Here are the specifications unveiled during its launch.

Display: Nokia has managed to keep up with the same silhouette of the original Nokia model but has tried to come up with a more fresh and bright look while keeping up with the one that was launched in 2000. The new Nokia 3310 sports a 2.40-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. It also offers you fours colours to choose from: Warm Red and Yellow, both with a gloss finish, and Dark Blue and Grey both with a matte finish.

Battery: As expected, Nokia has claims to carry a long-lasting battery. The new Nokia 3310 is powered by a 1200mAh removable battery with a maximum talk time of Up to 22.1 hours. The company has also introduced a Micro-USB port makes charging simple.

Storage: Nokia 3310 is offering an internal storage of 16 MB that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Camera: Nokia 3310 houses a 2-megapixel primary rear camera.
