Taiwanese electronics giant Asus added another smartphone to its GO series and launched its flagship Zenfone Go 5.5 in India on Wednesday. The phone is priced at Rs 8,499 and it will be available exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon India in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold colours.
“With the immense success of our previous versions of Zenfone Go, it was befitting that we expand this range to meet with the copious demand,” Peter Chang, South Asia Region Head, ASUS, said in a statement, IANS reported.
Talking about the specifications, Asus Zenfone Go 5.5 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a blue light filter for eye protection. In the heart of the smartphone is 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Asus ZenUI 3.0 skin.
It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone also offers 5GB Asus web storage free for life. The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with dual LED real tone flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras sport four shooting modes to capture images in detail– manual mode, which according to the company gives DSLR-like detailed settings, real-time beautification mode, night mode and a photo effect mode.
Zenfone Go 5.5 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery that provides up to 400 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, the device has 4G connection, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi direct and Wi-Fi 802.11. The device is also equipped with a number of sensors which includes an accelerator, e-compass, proximity sensor, hall sensor and ambient light sensor.
