Apple has finally unveiled its brand new smartphone-- iPhone 8 Plus. The device features Apple's iOS 11 and the company's brand processor-- A11 Bionic chip. Check out the details inside

After almost a year full of rumours and speculations, Apple on September 12, 2017, unveiled its brand new smartphone– Apple iPhone 8 at a special event at its newly constructed Apple Park in the heart of Santa Clara Valley in the US. The new iPhone was announced by Apple CEO Tim Cook who reflected on how the App Store and the iPhone had revolutionised security and data privacy in the modern times during his speech.

Cook unveiled iPhone 8 at a special theatre in the Apple Park which has been dedicated to the company’s former CEO Steve Jobs. “iPhone also revolutionised security and privacy. iPhone’s amazing camera became the most popular way to capture images of our lives,” he said while making the announcement.

Apart from iPhone 8 Plus, Cook also unveiled Apple Watch Series 3, which features an e-SIM along with a brand new Siri; Apple TV 4K, which features Dolby Vision HDR 10 and 4K HDR 10; and iPhone 8, which is powered by A11 Bionic chip and runs on iOS 11 and features an all glass body with an aluminium metal frame.
