'Mark yourself safe', says Twitter after Dhinchak Pooja drops ‘Baapu Dede Thoda Cash’ video

It has only been a couple of days since "popstar" Dhinchak Pooja released the video of her song "Baapu Dede Thoda Cash" and Twitter is on a mission to troll.

Dhinchak Pooja might be a victim of harsh criticism but it looks that she remains unfazed by it all. The singer released a video for her song “Bapu Dede Thoda Cash” earlier this week. While the song wasn’t exactly a hit, enough people listened to it for Dhinchak Pooja to release a video and people wasted no time in roasting it. Nobody forced them so watch it mind you – but they did – and now they want you to know that they dislike it.

KBRO.

The song’s lyrics distinctly ‘Pooja-like’ – “World tour par jaane ko/ Gold house banwane ko/ Dosto ko patane ko/ Champagne udaane ko/ Karne ko hume aish/ Baapu dede thoda cash“.  In the video, Dhinchak Pooja is literally swimming in cash, courtesy- “bapu”, as she performs her ‘swagger steps’ while playing with Rs 2,000 banknotes. In your face, Demonitisation.

The song was released back in July albeit, without a video. Perhaps Ms Dhinchak was being cautious following the surge of complaints against her for not wearing a helmet in the video of “Dilon ka Shooter”. But, haters are not looking to back down as Twitterati drew the attention of the Income Tax department to the amount of cash shown in the video.

Others weren’t exactly pleased with the video either:

Think they are over-reacting? Check out the video below if you haven’t already seen it:
