Justin Trudeau wishing everyone a Happy Vaisakhi in Punjabi is winning the internet today

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has wished everyone a Happy Vaisakhi in fluent Punjabi and the internet can't contain its happiness.

There’s no doubting the fact that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is perhaps the most adored world leader. Not only is he a great human being (at least, he seems like one), he is just so (and excuse me for saying this) damn hot! But this time, he has managed to charm all Indians at once. On the occasion of the Indian festival of Vaisakhi (also known as Baisakhi), Trudeau wished everyone IN PUNJABI!

In a video he posted on his Facebook page, Trudeau spoke fluent Punjabi as he wished everyone a Happy Baisakhi. He opened by saying, “Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh” following which, he addressed the importance of Sikh Canadians. “Sikh Canadians help make India strong, rich and inclusive country that it is today.”

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau wished everyone a Happy Baisakhi in Punjabi on the occasion of the Indian festival.

The Canadian PM, who also fluent in French, stated in the language, “This year, on the 150th anniversary of Canada, let us celebrate the many traditions, cultures, and beliefs that make our country such a great place to live.”

His video was highly appreciated by his followers. One Facebook user stated, “Thanks Justin Trudeau for celebrating everything multicultural.”  Another user posted, ” I love these announcements. I am learning about days special to other cultures and faiths.”

Trudeau concluded his video with the very special Punjabi wish, “Vaisakhi diyan lakh lakh vadhaiyan“.
