#InternetHero: Twitter Is Gushing Over This Pakistani Labourer's Honesty

A Pakistani labourer's honest gesture is winning hearts online after he returned a pair of gold earrings to its owners who lost them 3 years ago.

A Pakistani labourer is the new hero of the internet. Not because he is impossibly goodlooking (remember the chaiwallah?), but because of a gesture that can actually be termed noble.  The labourer, who can barely make ends meet, returned a pair of gold earrings to its owners who lost them 3 years ago.

The heart-warming story was shared on Twitter by a user named Zeeshan Khattar. According to him, the labourer was working on a plot adjacent to his house and he walked up to his door to ask if they had ever lost any kind of gold jewellery.

“Today our door was knocked. My brother went out and this labour asked if we had lost something of gold ever?” Khattar’s brother told him that the family lost a pair of gold earring in 2015. And the labourer immediately took out the earrings from his pocket and handed it to him.

Even when Khattar wanted to give him some reward, he refused.

Impressed by the labourer, several people on Twitter wanted to reward him and praised him for his honesty and integrity. Check out some reactions here:
