Singapore's Diwali Express is in for festive surprise!

The train will run on the North East Line (NEL) till mid-November

The Singapore’s famous Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) has come with a unique and superb way to celebrate Diwali this year. MRT has launched its Diwali-themed train on October 15. The train is all decked up with Indian jewelleries, lotus, peacock, festoons, rangolis, and diyas. Launched by Minister for Transport, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, the train will run on the North East Line (NEL) till mid-November. Apart from the train, the North East Line and Downtown Line platforms at Little India Station have also been decked up on the similar lines.

Also, on the roads across Little India, you can see Diwali-themed lights with lotuses and peacocks. As per reports, it is LTA, the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA) collaboration. Both have come together to get the decorations and designs.
