When Mars, Venus and Moon went on a cosmic date!

The Universe is a mysterious place that never fails to awe you. From the mind-boggling black holes to the breathtaking beauty of the stars in-formation, the view up in the sky is so stunning that it leaves you spell-bound!

One of such incredible events took place in our own galaxy and it left the star gazers absolutely amazed. Apparently, the three members of our Milky Way family went on a date and the event was just out of this world (pun intended). Yes, Mars, Venus and the Moon went cosmic date that lit up the night sky.

The night sky on Tuesday witnessed Mars, in its tinge of red, the brightly shining Venus and the love-struck crescent moon illuminating near the constellation Aquarius. The event was visible across the globe and scores of people took to social media to share images of this stellar event from their cities.

Meanwhile, the month of January is going to witness some thrilling cosmic imagery. For the stargazers who are on a constant look out for cosmic beauty, January 5 is going to be the night of the wolf moon (not like the one in Vampire tales), where the moon would shine near the stars of the constellation Gemini.

Another stellar event to watch will take place on January 27 where the moon would be stuck between the earth and the sun. The moon’s tilted orbit would prevent it from eclipsing the sun. However, if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of a slender sliver of the waxing moon near the horizon.

So gear up folks, coz the night is just going to get better!
