Ahead of the 70th Independence day celebrations, Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has revealed the dates of its next big sale. Flipkart’s ‘The Big Freedom Sale’ will begin on August 9, 2017, and end on August 11, 2017. As a part of the sale, the company is not only offering a bumper sale on smartphones, laptops but also on accessories and home appliances.
The company is offering a minimum of 71 percent discount on nearly 30 products listed as a part of the sale. The company is also offering 10 percent instant discount on HDFC debit and credit cards.

Smartphones
If you were planning to buy a smartphone, now will be the right time to do so. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be on sale for the entire duration of the sale (72 hours). Interested buyers can get Rs 1,000 off on exchanging their old smartphone with the new Redmi Note 4. Apart from this, the e-retailer is offering discounts on budget smartphones. While Lenovo K5 Note, which is priced at Rs 12,499, is available for Rs 9,999; Moto M, which is priced at Rs 15,999, is available for Rs 12,999. Flipkart is also offering a bumper discount on the purchase of Google Pixel. The device which is priced at Rs 67,000 will be available for just Rs 48,999 as a part of the sale. The company is also slashing the price of the 32GB variant of Apple iPhone 6, the price of which hasn’t been revealed yet.

Electronic devices and appliances
Flipkart is offering discounts on the purchase of Canon digital camera, laptops, printers, LED TVs and Skullcandy headphones. The company is also offering huge discounts on microwave ovens, refrigerators, irons and air conditioners. However, the prices all these devices have been kept under wraps.
