Youth confesses to killing girlfriend on Reddit. Read his chilling post

Ager Hasan is the lead suspect in the case where his girlfriend Melinda Vasilije was found stabbed to death in her apartment last week.

Ager Hasan, 24, is being hunted down by the police for stabbing his girlfriend Melinda Vasilije, a resident of Ontario, Canada. He is believed to have fled to the United States after his girlfriend was found dead at the apartment they shared in Kitchener.

In a post that was titled “Wanted for Kitchener murder, my side”, which has now been removed, the user RedasBlue101 had claimed that they had split up a few weeks before the incident. Hasan had reportedly been asked to maintain his distance from the city of Kitchener and was also under a court order which barred him from contacting Melinda. Melinda had complained to the police and charged Hasan with assault after an incident of domestic violence had gone bad.

“She was more than a girlfriend, a soon to be fiance, she was my everything,” the post read.

Hasan claims that they had made up and were only arguing on the night that she had died. The argument, as he admits in the post, was largely due to his confession of sleeping with other women during the short break in their relationship. As per a report by the Independent, the Reddit user says that Melinda flew into a rage and grabbed a knife, and he only responded in self-defence. Melinda was found dead in the apartment with multiple stabs.

The suspect was last spotted on April 28 after he allegedly stole a licence plate from a car in Pennsylvania and putting it on his black 2016 Honda HR-V in a Walmart parking lot. Waterloo Regional Police are still investigating the Reddit posts and evaluating them further for evidence.
