Gurvinder Singh Malhotra aka Shanky Singh from Jagadhri, Haryana grabbed spotlight after a video of him chokeslaming a police constable went viral.
While speaking exclusively to InUth, Shanky revealed the truth behind the viral video.
The incident that happened was real. Actually, I got selected for the tryouts for WWE in Dubai. When I went to meet my friend to share the news of my selection, the incident happened. I was very happy and I started doing push-ups on the road. In the meanwhile, two police constables came and stopped me. I was just doing push-ups and not hurting anyone. They (constables) provoked me and I just replied back.
Shanky, 26, is former accountant and a CWE wrestler. Shanky joined ‘The Great Khali’s’ CWE academy in 2015. His WWE tryouts results are awaited. If selected, Shanky will be the 2nd CWE student to feature in WWE.
