The women showed strength and valor to pull off a win against Philipines at the Challenge Cup of Asia fixture held in Bangkok. The match was played yesterday. It was a well fought out match in which the women from India won.

Indian women got momentum and belief after registering its first goal in the second period and ended with the team having a 1-0 advantage.

The last quarter was well fought by women of both teams, not giving an inch away. In fact, 3 goals were scored in the quarter by both teams. It is a match that went down to the wire. India emerged victorious 4-3.
