It seems India has found it’s next pacer!
We are talking about the 18-year-old Kamlesh Nagarkoti from Rajasthan, who is faster than senior Indian fast bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami. The 18-year-old pacer bowls at a speed of more than 145 kmph and this was at display during the India’s tournament opener against Australia in ICC U-19 World Cup.

Earlier in the day, India U-19 won the toss and opted to bat first. Shaw led from the front scoring 94 off 100 balls. Manjot Kalra, Shubham Gill also contributed with handsome 86 and 63 respectively. Edwards was the pick of the Australian bowlers bagging 4 wickets, but he too was on the expensive side. He conceded 64 runs in 9 overs.

This was serious pace from our boys. Solid beginning beating the Aussies by 100 runs. May the hunger continue and we carry the momentum. #U19CWC pic.twitter.com/zL75RDxjN3

Kamlesh Nagarkoti reminds me of Shaun Tait with a better line and length. The only difference is that Tait just had pace but Nagarkoti has most of the qualities of a legendary fast bowler! #INDvAUS #U19CWC

Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi bowling consistently 140+ kmph is a refreshing sight. Nagarkoti bowls well in the death as well. First person to take List A hat-trick for Rajasthan.
These two will be hot picks during IPL auction, I guess#U19CWC @StarSportsIndia

Two Indian U19 boys are bowling 140kph + for fun.. Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti who just bowled at 146.. Remember a time where as fans we got excited to see Right Arm Fast Medium instead of Right Arm Medium Fast for an Indian pacer. And that was the senior players #U19CWC

When Nagarkoti destroyed England in the past, have a look at his raw pace.
One thing for certain, these young Turks are timing their performances to perfection, keeping IPL Auctions in mind, that is slated later in January.
