IPL 2018 Anthem Released: Fans Find It 'Boring', Demand Something Like 'India Ka Tyohar'

After listening to this track, Tweeps have already started missing the old broadcasters and the songs produced by them for previous seasons

Just a few days ahead of the start of the eleventh edition of Indian Premier League, the official broadcasters of this cash-rich tournament—Star India—launched its official anthem. Within no time, the video created a buzz across all social media platforms. The song is inspired by the renowned track ‘Ye Desh Hai Veer Jawaano Ka‘ from the film Naya Daur.

The music video is a collaboration between the BCCI and Star India and is directed by South African filmmaker Dan Mace along with music director Rajiv Bhalla. It has been launched in 5 languages and has been sung by Parwah Nahin (from M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story) singer Siddharth Basrur.

But after listening to this track, they have already started missing the old broadcasters and the songs produced by them for previous seasons.
