Suresh 'Daredevil' Raina takes a blinder to dismiss Gunathilaka in 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka- Watch

Raina had dropped a straightforward catch in the previous encounter against Bangladesh but more than made up for it with this brilliant piece of fielding

Suresh Raina is known for his superb fielding skills. His athletic performance on-field has let the bowler get many a wicket on multiple occasions. The Indian cricket fans surely have missed his fielding in the past year but they rejoiced last night when Team India took on Sri Lanka for the second time in the ongoing Nidahas Trophy Tri-series. The Men in Blue made a strong comeback against the Lankans and won over them by 6 wickets to reach the top spot in the points table. Some terrific performance from players like Shardul Thakur and Manish Pandey helped India clinch the game. But Raina’s ‘supernatural’ efforts to dismiss Danushka Gunathilaka stole the entire show.

The incident happened in the 3rd over when Shardul Thakur came to the attack and delivered a short ball which Gunathilaka pulled towards the mid-wicket region. Raina, who was already stationed in that region, zapped through the air and plucked a stunning catch.
