The Indian hockey team today faced a defeat in their fourth match of the 2017 Men’s Hockey World League semi-final. They were playing against Netherlands, who didn’t gave a single chance to the Indian team to come back in the game, as it score 3 goals in the match.
India only managed to score a goal in the second half, but failed to score further. India had been unbeaten thus far in the tournament. Netherlands started their campaign in London with a 4-0 win over Pakistan. While after beating Scotland 4-1 and Canada 3-0 at the start of the tournament, it was the 7-1 win against Pakistan on Sunday that brought jubilation back home among the Indian fans.
