The Croatian midfielder was awarded the prestigious Ballon d’Or award in 2018, ending the duopoly of Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. On the other hand, Messi finished fifth according to the rankings missing out on the award by a huge margin of 473 points between him and Modric.

The fans of both the clubs have always been passionate and posts like these tend to start a social media war between these keyboard warriors.
